The Open Shelter would like to announce that "Drive And Drop For The Open Shelter" will be held on Saturday, August 25th from 10am until 12pm.This event is being held to collect camping equipment, hygiene items, canned goods and clothing for the homeless.We are promoting this, hopefully with your help, to inspire the Central Ohio community to drive by our agency at 61 E. Mound St. at the corner of Third and Mound in Downtown Columbus behind St. John's Church to donate these much needed items!We will have donuts, orange juice and coffee for those who drop by with their donations along with appearances from the Ohio Roller Girls and WBNS 10TV Anchor Jerry Revish!We also will be helped by volunteers from Otterbein University.
