The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 44th anniversary in 2014 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and beloved films. The 2014 series, made possible through the generous support of PNC, will run June 6–August 10 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.), featuring 28 films over nine weeks (no films scheduled the week of the Fourth of July holiday).
2014 highlights include 14 series premieres, a silent film with live musical accompaniment, two Saturday mornings of classic cartoons, and one "Fright Nite Friday" double feature.
